War memorials - King's Liverpool Regiment

Post by daggers »

I am collecting information on memorials dedicated to the King's Liverpools, [not to individuals], any conflict.
If anyone knows of any, in UK or elsewhere, I'd be glad to know about them.
I have already listed those in St John's Gardens, and know about the proposed memorial to the Pals battalions.
Thanks.

I have some pictures of various memorial plaques in St George's Chapel, Ypres, that I took when I was there a few weeks back.

Would you like copies of these?

Yes, please, if they are of King's Regt relevance and not of individuals. I think I may know what they are from a trip some years ago.
You have my email, which should be easier for transmission.

Hi Daggers :)
Listing this link, while it lists names, there is also a link to gravestones in South Africa, Belfast District, which I thought may be of use to others.

Great minds etc, etc! I have just had a reply from one of the people involved in that site, giving me the OK to use their pic of that memorial in Belfast, S.Africa.
Thanks for the thought.

This may not be what you are interested in, but it caught my eye in St Mary's Knowsley when I was there yesterday.
