i'm hoping someone can help me i'm trying to find details of the death of William Henry Givan of 43 Tynwald Hill,Liverpool who died 9/4/1952 and his wife Edith Mabel of the same address who died 2 days later.
any information is very welcome

Ian, I strongly suggest you get copies of the two death certs before going further. The certs will tell you where the deaths took place, at home or in hospital etc, and the given cause of death may either satisfy your interest or actually provide further clues, in that an inquest may have been hold.Ian.T wrote:Thanks for the replies blue and dickiesam

At the date you are interested in you won't find anything online, but as Katie says you would need to check the newspapers at the Record Office.
I can certainly put you in touch with a researcher who would find any entries for you, if there were any to find, but I agree with Dickiesam, you need the death certificates first, the causes of death might suggest to you whether there would have been any need for an entry in the newspaper, apart of course, from an obituary.
