After years of searching I finally found the death of mg gg grandfather Thomas Brennan.
In a newspaper article he is listed amongst the dead from the late boat accident on 30/12/1859.
I am just wondering if anyone knows where I may find more details of this accident.
Copies of the 2 articles I found.
Many Thanks

Hi,
There are only 2 FreeBMD entries that are a close match..
Deaths Dec qtr 1859> Brannan, Thomas - Liverpool - 8b - 59 and:
Deaths Mar qtr 1860> Brannan, Thomas - W. Derby - 8b - 234.
I would think that because the accident happened on the 30th of December, the death might not be actually registered until the beginning of January 1860. So the second one is the most likely.
