Any chance of a directory look-up for No. 32, say 1921-1923, for surname Bruce or Hooley?

Hi Daggers,

My mum's family lived in Blackfield St (Roach/Baker) from the 1890s through to 1964. They lived at numbers 24 and 25. I spoke with my mum and she reckons that at 32 lived the Pattersons, this would have been in the 1930s to the 1960s.

I asked her about Bruce and Hooley and she'd not heard of the names.

Just in case, living at 30 were the Campbells, 28 the Atherton family, and 26 the Courtney family.

Hi Daggers

I don't think anyone in the forum has Directories for the years you are looking for.
I could be wrong, I hope!!
Blackfield St Kirkdale is in 1911 Directory from Back Great Mersey St to Latham St.
1894 Directory gives the same location for Blackfield St.

I think you are right Tina, it made me check what we held amongst us and I had a look on ebay and have ordered a few for my Christmas present to me, although I didn't see any offered for those dates.

Daggers I think you might be best checking the Electoral Registers for those years.
