Advice needed, please, on a possible burial in Liverpool: George Ricketts, who died at the Star & Garter Hotel on 8th April soon after his arrival from Barbadoes. He was not a resident of Liverpool.
The hotel was in Paradise Street, and the nearest church was probably St George's or St Peter's. Did they have a burial ground ? Does the Lpool RO have the registers? - I have not been able to trace the catalogue reference.
Does he feature in the National Burial Register CDs?
All help gratefully received.

LATER NOTE - PLEASE SEE MY POST BELOW, AS I ALREADY HAVE DETAILS OF THE BURIAL WHICH WAS AT ST GEORGE'S.

Sorry to have bothered you, but I was not in time to correct my post here. I already have the information on this burial, and should have asked a different question:
Are there individual records of re-burials at the Everton Cemetery, Long Lane, where those buried at St George's were transferred in the 1890s?

I think there should be because they will have had to get permission from the Secretary of state to exhume the remains from St Peters/St Georges and there should be a record of the remains being reburied in Everton. I am going to the Library on Sunday I will have a look at the notes about the reburials
