Hello
I am looking for some long lost relations,
David Morris born c1913 was living at 34 Domingo Vale, Everton in 1937 at the time of his marriage to Violet Edna Kershaw
Davids father was called Phillip Morris
Both David and Phillip were "travellers" by occupation
Both Violet and David i believe lived at 40 Newark Street, Liverpool in 1953 at time of Violet's mothers death
Anyone know anything about them?
Thanks John Melling

There are 2 male births maiden Kershaw in Lpool North
1937 & 1940.
There are some others but they are in Manchester.
I won't list their first names as the people may still be alive.
PM me if you need the info...

Hi John,
Do you have the death certificate pertaining to Violet's mother's death? Is that where you got the Newark Street address from or somewhere else?
In addition to the two Liverpool births Morris maiden name Kershaw that Tina found there's another male one in 1946, also in Liverpool. Up to 1950 there's a total of 9 M/K births including 3 in Essex and 3 in Manchester/Bury. As Tina said we can't publish names because they may still be living.
You have David's birth as 'circa' 1913. Does that mean you haven't found his birth yet and therefor don't have his birth cert? There were 5 David Morris births in Lancashire between 1912 and 1914, 2 of them being in Liverpool with maiden names Jones and McKinnon. If you had his birth date you would have a very good chance of finding when and where he died. His death cert would provide valuable information to further your search for his children. Have you any knowledge of David's siblings and have you found his family in the 1911 census?
As regards Violet Edna, this is the only birth I found [1905-1920] that's almost a full match: Births Mar 1920> Kershaw, Violet E - m/n Johnson - W.Derby - 8b - 781.
Does that birth match the marriage cert age? If it does I may have found her death....
Name: Morris, Violet Edna; Date of Birth: 19 February 1920.
Registration District: Amber Valley, Derbyshire.
Year/Month of Registration: 1998/December.
District No: 3921B; Reg No: B5C; Ent No: 213; DOR: 1298.
The death cert would confirm if she was David's spouse and whether he had passed before her. Other info would be the name and relationship to the deceased of the informant and his/her address.
