Dear all,

first off all I would like to thank you all for your contribution to this topic. You gave me some interesting info. Unfortunately the case is not solved yet but I have good faith that someday I'll get the answer.

If you have any suggestions how to continue my search please let me know!

I'm sorry we have not come up with any conclusive answers, I'm assuming that you have checked Holland for the marriage, as it doesn't appear to have taken place in England.

Simone mentioned the following reference in her mail of a few days ago:

HO107; Piece: 2180; Folio: 547; Page: 50

I wonder to what index this information refers.

That reference and details that Simone gave are for the 1851 census.

It's certainly possible that they didn't marry especially if he was headed out of the country and asked her to go with him .... sounds quite romantic!
