Anglo Irish Family History Society - Help!

Post by dickiesam »

Hi Annejay,
Because there are probably more members of the Anglo Irish Family History Society in St Helen's than there are relatives of Jessie Smithwick, I think you might get more attention or looks at your post if you edit it and put Anglo Irish Family History Society - Help please! into the Subject box, as I have done in my subject line, instead of just Jessie Smithwick. And in the message itself refer to hoped-for contact with members of the St Helen's branch of the Society to track down the Marjorie in the Feb 2004 email you found. You should also mention where you found that mail and a little more detail on Jessie's burial such as the date/year etc.
Hope this helps.

From Dickiesam's response above it would seem that you would be interested in your research encompassing Ireland. Unfortunately the Anglo-Irish group is no longer, to quote from the Liverpool & SW Lancs FHS Journal

"Anglo-Irish
This Group ceased to exist after the December 2004 Meeting. Inquiries upon Irish problems should be forwarded to Mr James Firth, 22 Elmers Green, Skelmersdale, Lancashire WN8 6RY, with a SAE."

I hope our crew might be able to help you anyway.
