Great War Soldiers picture

I Was speaking to one of the Liverpool & Sth West Lancs people last week at Liverpool Museum and in the conversation she mentioned there may be a way to look up pictures of local Soldiers entered at the time into the local newspapers to celebrate the fact of going to war. Has anyone any links or advice to help me with this request.

He was James Walton resideing at Mile End Liverpool before joining the Royal Garrison artillery any help much appreciated. :D

Thats the womans name Katie She was looking for an article regarding an accident in 1938 for me at the Museum but no luck :)
