Langley Descendants

Post by burkefam04 »

Hi All

Just looking to make contact with any Langley descendants in Liverpool particularly with regard to the West Derby / Toxteth Park areas. My Great Grandfather x 3 George Vail Langley was born in Liverpool in 1848 son of Thomas and Frances Langley (nee Alford). He died in 1876.He had 5 brothers William Thomas b.1831,Edward Bewley b.1833,George Anderson b.1835,John Augustus b.1837,Henry Caleb b.1844 and a sister Ann Hume Langley b.1842.There are very strong connections with the West Derby / Toxteth Park area of Liverpool so i would be delighted to hear from anyone who may have any connection.

Kind regards,
Paul

We have put together a few suggestions for tracing living people that might help you, here - http://liverpool-genealogy.org.uk/phpBB ... php?t=8154

Langley Descendants

Hello Paul,
You mention 'very strong connections' in the Toxteth/West Derby areas. Have you been able to trace George Vail Langley's 5 brothers through the censuses up to 1911, found marriages for them, and children of those marriages etc, via the censuses?

To find descendants around today we need to be looking from 1911.
