marriage cert

I have just recieved a marr cert from the lpool history project, i was expecting to get the brides fathers name even though she was a widow but she was described as widow of dennis toole, if i sent for the civil cert do you think her fathers name would be on this Irene

THe civil certificate should have her fathers name on. Thats unusual for it not to list her maiden name I havent come across that before where did the marriage take place?

According to lancsbmd the details for the marriage in 1875 give Mary as PLUCK as well as TOOLE

Om freebmd Mary PLUCK married Denis TOOLE Liverpool Sept Q 1851 vol 20 page 420

On liverpoolhistory projects this marriage is shown as at St Mary Highfield Street

Thanks Hilary £9 saved. I,m trying to trace an eliza toole nee redmond born 1838 in ireland. She vanishes after the 1871 census with her sons dennis and robert, her daughters mary and elizabeth both married in lpool Irene
