I have missed this site, but this morning I took delivery of the book "Tracing Your Liverpool Ancestors" by Mike Royden, in which I was delighted to find that, through]-
www.archive.org/web/web.php and entering toxteth.net I could retrieve the toxteth.net pages.
I hope Mike Royden doesn't object to this being shared.

No problem Heli, I was so disappointed when the site went down and I know many others were too. I offered to host the site as long as the webmaster wanted, but no reply I'm afraid, although I know he was offered similar help from a few other supporters. The archive cannot provide everything that was last updated, but a great deal of the site can still be accessed.
And thanks for buying the book, glad its been of some use anyway!

Hi Mike, welcome to the forum.
If any of our members don't know Mike, he's a well known Liverpool Historian and was a speaker at our Annual Conference two years ago when he gave a very enjoyable talk about Halewood, although I know his sphere of knowledge is far wider than this, as is shown on his website.
