Any Leads & orInformation will be most appreciated!! Joe in Texas
My Great Great Great Grandfather is Robert Walker. I found this from my Great Great Grandmother's Wedding Certificate.
He is shown to be a Liverpool Pilot, but do consider anything involving the sea & seafaring.
I calculate his birth to fall in the years 1785-1900 with his daughter Ellen Walker being born circa 1818.
As far as I can tell they are all Liverpool people.
Thanking you Joe
Robert Walker

North Meols,
Great to hear from you again!! Hope you are well and all is in the pink for you in Oklahoma City.
I haven't been up there in about 10 years, so I expect it has developed a lot!
I was in the city looking for Art Deco, which was my professional business.
I thank you for your kind heart in helping me with this item!! (':D')
Potentially the Robert marriage & parents fits in ok. Right church etc.
However if Robert Walker was born in 1794 he would have been 24 at the birth of Ellen Walker.circa 1818
And only 19 if he was born in 1799. What is your opinion about this?
In either case the father John Walker would be born in the range of
1770- 1775 so if he died in 1870 he would have been about 100 yrs of age what do you think about this?
Although I feel good about John Walker being the father of Robert as Ellen named her first son John.
I don't think the shown death is the same John Walker.
I do not know who Robert Walker married, would love to know though!
I would be very impressed if we could find some info involving Robert Walker with the sea, as he was listed on Ellen Walker's marriage certificate as a Pilot. Any ideas as I have searched without any leads!
What exactly are you using to come up with such great info?
All my love from Texas & San Antonio in particular, Joe Walker

There is a useful site - http://www.old-liverpool.co.uk/ which also has a specific page about Pilots
Additionally you might consider posting a query on the Rootschat as a member called davecigar has a copy of John (PJH) Tebay's "List of Pilots - 1734 to 1990" - or did have, I don't know if he still does.
