Colquitt - probate look-up request.

Post by daggers »

If anyone has moment to spare in the 4th floor, Central Library, could they kindly look in the probate calendars for 1879 or 1880 for details of the grant of probate for the estate of Georgina Mary Colquitt, probably living in Cheltenham by then?
Also for Ernest Augustus Colquitt, died 1881, so likely to be in the volumes for 1881/2/3.
Many thanks

Hi Daggers

I have found the details in the Probate books, but will PM the details. Don't want you to be inundated with begging letters if it proves you have come into money

Just read the other thread on the Colquitt family so it won't be you or Andrew that will inherit :(

Thanks for that - not even a small chance of any benefit!

The dust has settled now and flights 'normal', so I hear, but as one with both feet strictly on the ground, I'm happy to be grounded.
Sorry, no freebies.
