Keane surname research

Post by crossl »

I've found one in march qtr 1879
Mary McCourt to James CAIN (Lancs BMD)
Lpool R.O or registrar attended
Lpool RC marriages have him as KAIN
St Mary's Highgate.

If someone is able to get this record for me, if time permits.

Thank you
Frank

I think making a note of the witnesses at Marriages and Baptisms is very helpful as I have found many other relatives through this source.

Just hope that someone is not going to try tracing family trees from two recent weddings at the Liverpool Register office. My friend and I have be collared twice to be witnesses at weddings were the couple didn't have any other people with them. Didn't want family to know!!!!!!!
The Registrars have told us to bring a hat with us now when we go to do our volunteer work

Glad they were helpful to you Tina, you do so much for others when you are on the night shift.

and on my other post about Edward Crosbie, if I hadn't been looking for his step family - the Sinkers, the evidence found by Lewis Sinker being witness to Edward's marriage - Antony would never have contacted me and he's given me some invaluable information as to where the grave is for my children's great grandfather, his mother and her father!!! all because of a witness.
