Just thought I would mention that when I contacted my local LDS Centre in Cork, Ireland to order in a parish register film from UK they told me they were no longer ordering any films in as in a few weeks time people would be able to access the registers they wanted online.
Wondered if anyone knew anything about this?
Online Registers?
Not yet but it sounds very interesting. I can't see an announcement on the website, so if anybody has any information, please update us.

The LDS tried to recruit family history societies to transcribe PRs some years ago without success.
They have tried again recently, again without success.
Don't hold your breath on this one.
