Tarbet Street

Welcome to the Forum.
The nearest I can get is in a 1930s road map, which has it as adjacent to Emerson St, a very short street between Berkely St to the east, Upper Hill St to the south, St James's Place to the west and Upper Stanhope St to the north. It probably disappeared years ago in redevelopment.
Experts here may be able to track it in a census - what period are you interested in? A family name would help, too.

The 1871 enumerators walk was as follows - figures are the number of houses in each street:

Grey St 51
Vickers St 38
Watson St 14
Wagstaff St 16
Tarbet St 14
Penrith St 31
Emerson St 29

The streets were in the North Toxteth Ward - Ecclesiastical parish of St James

Hi welcome aboard :)
In 1894 Gores/Kellys Directory is does not list the occupants of the street, just has it running off Emerson between house numbers 6 & 8.

You can find Emerson St in streetmap.co.uk
