Hi as you live in Runcorn can you go to LRO yourself and look up marriage rather than asking one of the forum members?
They will do this for you if you are in poor health and unable to get there.

Hi Jan Have you heard a well documented Scouse saying s*** hits the fan well you have just knocked 18 moths of hard study at 4th floor Central Library out the window with just one look up on my James Scarlet Pimpernell Walton. Honoustly I had His father as Being Married in Our Lady & St Nicholas & St Annne 1880 to Margaret Lyon. Living at a Street called Emma Anne Street Courts which was in a street called Thornton St, off Love Lane off Great Homer St. but the part of him being in the Army as a Gunner with the Royal Artillery. and living at mile end is fantastic now you know how a complete novice can get lost in Central Library.
Just wish I had someone then with your Knowledge thank you and everyone who assited me with this query no doubt I will be going back to Central Library looking through those Micro Fische

Glad to help,
The marriage wasn't on microfilm, but in original book form in the reading room of the RO, I had to order it from the desk, I also got the book with the Everton Christ church marriages just to double check.
I think I may have found James with his parents on the 1891 and 1901 census, I will have a look at the details again and post them here for you.
It says on the Army papers that when James joined up on 12/11/14 he was 24 years and 40 days old, there is another address on there aswell, I will have another look, I forgot to write it down.
