Bow(e)
Hi and welcome to the forum.
It's not a name known to me that any of our forum members are researching, but you could do a search (link at the top of the page) to be sure.
But is there anything that we can help you with?

On the forum there appears to be two mentions of the name Bowe - too many instances for just Bow, probably a word or part of a word.
But maybe you would have an interest in these
There is mention on the Liverpool's Scroll of Fame
and although this is an old posting perhaps the author still picks up mail linked with his forum membership so might see if you add a reply to it.

Alternatively, if you need any help with your research, let us know and we'll see what we can do.

Sheila sent me this message.
This site is very good for providing a list of churches in the appropriate area http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/LAN/StHelens/
The entry is on LancashireBMD for 1862 - John Kelly and Mary Bow. Prescot Regisgter Office or Registrar Attended.
One thought is that if you were to apply to the local Register Office for the marriage certificate it should give you the church. If it doesn't I would phone them to ask why not.
I dont know if somebody else might be able to help.Just to say a name associated with Bow(e) and Kelly in St. Helens was Haggarty or Haggerty. I have never found the church they used in St. Helens. Years ago I tried Holy Cross but no luck. As they lived in Parr and Gerrards Bridge could you give a guess to which R.C. Church they were connected?
