Hi everyone,
Has anyone heard of a Ladies hairdressers' called 'Lido' that was operating in the 1930's? It was in the 1938 Kelly's Directory at the address - 11 William Henry Street, Everton, L'pool. The William Henry Street address is where one of my Barratt family members was born in 1934. I'm not sure if it was 'Lido' in 1934 or became that closer to 1938. I realise it's a very long time ago but thought it worth a try!!
Thanks
Leonie

Hi leonie noticed you haven't had any replies..
Maybe if you give us your ancestors full name and parents names.. and who was living at 11 William Henry St in 1938..we might get a connection.. then again the family might have been lodging there above the Hairdressers... and have no connection to the owner..
xx

Thanks for your reply Colette.
I'd love to get some help with this family but can't post any personal details on public forums because the people could still be living...
I have ordered a stack of certificates in a quest to find my mother-in-law's half siblings in Liverpool. Until recently we never knew they even existed and after receiving the marriage certificates of 3 of the sisters they thought their father was dead so they certainly don't know about us!!
The youngest sister (who would be 75) was was born there.
Thanks anyway, I'll keep digging...
