Hi all

,
Sorry I was away for the weekend....... For once a beautiful one and couldn't just stay home!!!!
Thanks again for all your replies.
My father-in-law was born in the early 30's and remembers this "child" being around the same age he was. I'm not going to give his real age as he is still "kicking" although not in the best of health. That's why I trying to get this all sorted out. It would mean a lot to him.
I am not able to check Canadian birth records as they are only up to 1909. I have checked ship records and I don't see "Janette" "Jane" going back to England at any point. David Gerard did on a few occasions.
I may never find out what happened to "Jeanette". What I would like to find is the earlier information on their mother and father.
Is there a way to find out who owned the house that they were living in, in 1911?
I also know that David Gerard had a habbit of calling people by their street name....eg Green Street he would call people Mr or Mrs Green. Strange habbit
By any chance would there have been a Harcourt Street in Liverpool? Just a thought.....,but could that have been where he came up with the Harcourt name?
I truley don't believe that Evelyn OR Jeanette married.
