Likely place of burial

Hi PJ, :D

You mentioned you could not find any further reference to William in the censuses.
I had a look at the 1911 Census under William born in 1870 with co-habitors Annie and John. There was only one hit who was living in Northamptonshire in that year. Is this chance that it could be you man having moved away for while?

I hope this does not cause any confusion.

Hi there Philrob....thanks for input. My problem is with Williams younger days! Got him happily (?) ensconced with family in the 1901 and 1911 in Liverpool but can't get a definite hit previous to that as I don't know his parents. There's two young Williams in the 1881 - one with just a mother, Margaret and the other with just a mother, Bella. Annoyingly both those names were given to Williams daughters!!!! On his two marriage certs he gives two different fathers names.....1891 as John and 1920 as William. Non down as deceased so I hunted for a John Lindsay in 1891 but nothing conclusive found. I do suspect he belonged to one of the widowed ladies. Which one is going to remain a mystery.
Shall get my thinking head on again when hubby has returned to work next week!
Kindest, Pauline.
