Hi everone just a shot in the dark. Can anyone give me any information regarding a street called Emma Ann Street just off Hunter Street circa 1891. I am after any maps of the street or any pictures of the style of property in the Courts around that time and area.

Couldn't find Emma Ann Street, but an 1891 census street search gave 4 * Ann Street hits... Lydia Ann, Mary Ann, Phoebe Ann and St Ann. The latter had several courts in it.

If you know which area Hunter Street is in, which I guess you will do as 1891 sounds like a census, you could get a copy of an old map from Alan Godfrey maps:
Emma Ann Street came under the Parish of St Mathias. It was off Love Lane down in the Scotland Road Area of the City. My Donaldsons lived there for 30 years. I think it was only a little street with not many houses.
Hi,
Just found Emma Ann Street in the 1881 census. There are six locations listed.. #s 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, and 8. Each number seems to be a Court with several dwellings. Find the census page here:
