Finding grave, St. Luke's, Farnworth
How can I find the graves that I am looking for in St Luke's cemetery? The back is far to overgrown to walk through and there never seems anyone there to ask about a master plan or layout. I know that burials pre 1870s are available from the family history society, but what about burials post 1900? Would appreciate anyone's help. Leanne
Hi and welcome to the forum.
Simple answer is that I don't know, but maybe I know somebody who does. Those pre-1870 transcriptions have probably been produced by members of the Widnes Branch of our society and they may know if the project is being continued.

Alternatively my method is often to contact the church direct and ask them where the burial registers are held.

If you don't live in England, please reply on here and I'll make a call to ask myself tomorrow. If I'm to do this for you please advise the names and years you are interested in.
