Hello again. I am near to rounding off what I wanted on Touzel.
Can anyone help with this entry which Dickiesam provided from the 1861 census:
"Address: Green Lane, West Derby.
RG number: RG09 Piece: 2735 Folio: 29 Page: 1 "

There is more than one possible Green Lane. Is there any more detail on the folio/page which might direct me to the right one, please?

The description of the Enumerator's Walk should be of most help to you.

West Derby District 44f Rural Division
Green Lane including Lunatic Asylum and some Cottages down a road nearly opposite the George Hotel, Tynwald Hill both sides and House or Houses in Nursery, Woburn Hill both sides, Derwent Road both sides, and the Houses nearly at the top on left hand that are intended to form part of a new Square, the houses at the Water Works, Sandstone Road both sides and Back Sandstone Road.

Hope this helps to identify it on a map for you. Looks like the Green Lane leading between Prescot Road and West Derby Road since Sandstone Road West, Back Sandstone Road and Derwent Road are still there near each other.

Thank you Mary for that. [Do you ever sleep?]
I now know which Green Lane was meant - it is that West Derby business again!

Meanwhile...
'Dri Park' turns out to be DOE Park, Woolton, now the home of Woolton Golf Club. The 1901 census has a better writing of the word, when Touzel's mother and widow and 5 year-old daughter were at Eccleston, Cheshire.

I shall post a summary of what I have found and especially what others have provided here, but not until later on.

Don't tell anybody but I think the server clock is an hour out! I really wasn't awake that early

Good find with the Doe Park, I hadn't heard of it.
