Can anyone tell me if railway walk still exists .I have tried various map sites and cannot find it .Cousins of my mother lived there also in birkdale lived two maiden aunts. May & Ivy.

Yes it exists but it doesn't show on Google maps.

My map book is in the car I'll get it tomorrow. Then I can tell you were it runs from too.

I cam picture it (I'm in Birkdale) but not specifically if you know what I mean!

Sorry for the delay.

What I thought was Railway Walk is actually called The Walk but may have changed it's name. There is also Railway Street and Railway Terrace. If you could give me a name and approx date when they lived in Railway Walk I will look in Directories of the time at Southport library and work out which street it is now.

Sorry all who replyed i have finaly arrived at two names .Elizabeth ann Royle who married Robert Harry Holland 1894 ,also her two sisters May & Ivy .Ivy married i think Norman R Bentley 1939 .Dont know if any nore family exist in that area.
