Marriage look-up any time please

Post by Barbara B »

If anyone is going to the records office would it be too much trouble to do a quick look-up?
I would be grateful for any information on the marriage of Elizabeth Cave to John Helsby at Liverpool St Giles in the July quarter of 1885. Anything on the certificate would be very welcome.
Thanks in advance

Hi Carole
Yes, I saw that but would like to know the occupation of the bride's father and, if any, the bride as well to check that it's the right set of Caves.
Thanks

Barbara I have been to RO this morning and had a look at St Giles, but unfortunately the registers deposited do not start until 1952.

What a senior moment! Thank you Mary, I can't think why I wrote St Giles. It is, as you say St Silas in the September quarter of 1885.
Shirley, I'm very sorry you went on a wild goose chase on my behalf and hope it didn't take up too much of your time.
So.... if any kind person would do me the favour of a look-up it would still be much appreciated!
Cheers

Forgive my intrusion, but that made me laugh !! Thought I was bad, once I parked my Blue Espace (7 seater), came out of the supermarket and couldnt understand why I couldnt open the car, a green Mercedes Saloon!

Thank you Irene, I think it's probably not the one I'd hoped for but at least I can rule it out.
Once again your time and trouble are much appreciated
