I am seeking details of my gt grandparents marriage at St Silas Liverpool 28 June 1885 they are John Winrow and Mary Ann Jones.

Also Richard Roberts & Catherine Jones 8th February 1863 at St Lukes Liverpool.

Hi Frank

As the dates and venue for the marriages is known - Sandy is asking for a volunteer to look them up at the LRO to save buying the certificates

If the venue is known - marriages can be looked up in the parish registers held at the LRO. The only additional info required (apart from the name of the church) is the year and quarter or the actual date

Hi Girls they are the correct individuals - I am hoping to get more information about the William Jones - hopefully 2 of them and also to find out if Catherine is a widow. I know that a Catherine Roberts is Mary Ann Jones mother - have been stuck on this one for ages. I believe someone is going to look it up next week.

Thanks Irene I'm not sure that this takes me further in my quest to find Mary Ann's birth certificate or whether the Catherine Jones/Roberts is her mother. I have not been able to find any census data for 1841/51 or 61 that gives me any clues. I will try again with the new information.
