St Lawrence's CofE Church, Barlow Lane, Kirkdale

Has anyone got a photo of this Victorian church, now demolished? The pic in 'Churches of Liverpool' by David Lewis shows it in a dilapidated state but I would like to see something better to add to family records.

Not photographs but depending on how sentimental you are about the area, Frank Green's pictures might do the trick.

http://www.frankgreen.co.uk/ drop down Churches and there is St Lawrence's from the direction of Spellow Lane, or I was going to mention the drop down Pubs, where there should be a good pic of the Leigh Arms and St Lawrences but unfortunately the image is missing.

(I have this one on my wall at home)

Mary
Thanks for that suggestion. It may be the only hope as David Lewis probably trawled the Record Office collection when compiling his book.

Thanks for suggestions. Mr Green's studio has not responded to an email, but the photo Joe suggested will do well . Pity about the steeple!.
