I have been looking for a bernard and anne lynch who i suspect went to the states between 1841-1851 but did not take all the children with them.the problem i,m having are the records i,m checking seem to start later, he was born 1790 ireland but in liverpool on the 1841 census with all the family. Bernard & Anne Lynch

Post by Wendyem »

Morning all. I arrived today after being recommended to this site.
(thanks Georgiep.) It's looking like a good place to be.

Irenew, are you aware of several Family Trees on Anc....y for Bernard from Connaght..Galway & Anne (Martin) resident in 1850 New York ward 6 New York? with their children.
The Collins tree features events I saw on Anc....y but didn't have the subs to view for you.

cheers Wendyem :)

Hi Wendy thanks for spotting them i have seen them on ancestry i do have a subscription and have contacted at least three of them but no one has replied. I thought they had died between 1841-1851 as some of the children are with a brother in 1851 but having trouble finding the deaths a couple of bernards are in st anthonys but way out in age. i,m now trawling through catholic church cemetries at the lro Irene

Hi Irenew, I'm guessing you are also in touch with a "Susan" via "Genes"? She has all of the Children & Lynch Parents on site.

Good luck searching. Don't suppose any went back to Ireland?
