hi i have been asking for info about my great grandad who died in 1901 in orford barracks ..i have his service record up to 1875 when he retired with pension after that .he then was a barrack sergeant at aldershot wrexham then 19 years untill his death at orford barracks .have him on one census he is down as barrack sergeant commissariat ..does anybody know what commissariat after his rank means thanks regards margaret

i know orford barracks had an armoury in it so maybe quarter master of them ?
