Jones brothers in Liverpool

I am looking for information about Gilbert Arthur Jones 1896-1986 and Illtyd Jones 1899-1934. Both were sons of Idris Roberts Jones 1863-1938, a solicitor's clerk born in Merthyr Tydfil who must have moved to Liverpool in the early 1890s. In 1911 the family lived at 11 Russian Drive Stoneycroft. Gilbert and Illtyd were both conscripted in WW1; Gilbert was a non-combatant and Illtyd was a pay clerk. They also had a sister Ruth Jeanette Jones born in 1903. Gilbert married Christina Murphy in 1932 and Ruth married Richard Chambers Lawton Roberts in 1925.

You seem to have much of their lives mapped out, it's a shame you can't get them in 1939 but perhaps you have tried their descendants on the Register.

Gilbert and Christina are in the 1939 Register, living at No 2 Bungalow, Guernsey Road, Liverpool, in Stoneycroft. Gilbert is a school attendance officer, Christina a housewife. No others in the household.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I have the census, 1939 and military records. I am indeed looking for descendants or relatives - Illtyd died young without being married and the 1939 Register indicates no children for Gilbert and Christina. And there are too many Jones/Murphy births in Liverpool in the right era to be helpful!
All further ideas appreciated and I'll look at viewtopic link.

there's a Ruth, J Roberts born 5/6/1903.
in a fever hospital Croesnewydd rd. Wrexham in 1939.
Ruth Jeanette Roberts born 5/6/1903. died Wrexham 1995.

Yes, that's her. Her husband Richard C L Roberts died aged 69 QDec1961 Wrexham 8a, 452. Like her brothers, I haven't found clear evidence of any children, but I'll keep looking.
