Records for Walton Jail 1900-1920

Can anyone tell me if there are any records for Walton Jail for 1900-1920. One of our ancestors was punished for steaing a banana!!

I have found entries under the heading England & Wales, Crime, Prisons & Punishment, 1770-1935, the source being Habitual Criminals Register 1922, although there are entries for Liverpool, I'm not sure that they would cover Walton Prison or at least not specifically. Also I get the feeling that this would be a child or youth at the date you are interested in and these don't seem to cover the range. I think, but hoping somebody else might confirm this, that you might need to check Quarter Sessions Registers, possibly in the Archives when they re-open.
