Edward Harrison b 1813, Liverpool
Re: Edward Harrison b 1813, Liverpool
They might have been under the same "umbrella" as Walton on the Hill was the important place before Liverpool became important. I think it's important to know that both churches, the one by the Black Horse, next to the flyover in Walton and also the one in Prescot are both called St Mary's so I'm pleased you have your area sorted out so as to rule out the one in Prescot.

Re: Edward Harrison b 1813, Liverpool
Been looking for my "Manchester" ancestors and came across this Orrett bapt. in Ormskirk.
Robert s/o John and Lynda Orrett Oct 26 1823 , born 5th October. Ormskirk a miller.
Hope this is of use to Johnny O, but I would think he has it. Lynne

Hi Lynne, thanks for that. I don't have that Orrett family in my tree yet. I was looking for marriage records for John and Lydia on Lancs OPC but can't find one. The Ormskirk Orretts are on the back burner whilst I concentrate on the Liverpool lot, including Margaret marrying Edward Harrison

Thanks,
John
