Post by Richard Owen »

Captain Owen Owens (Master Mariner) was my great grandfather.
He died on November 17, 1905 and his probate was 28 November 1905
Residence was Bedford Road Walton
He was buried at St. Peters Church Llanbedrgoch, Anglesey

I am looking for a copy of his obits

Hi retiringtype

Thanks for the link but unfortunately I lost it.
I clicked on it once and quickly saw the page but did not have time to read it.
Went back to it later and something totally different came up.
Any chance you could find it again?
Question: Is family notices the same as obituaries?

Thanks Rick

The link still works for me. It's from the Carnarvon and Denbigh Herald and North and South Wales Independent of 24 November 1905.

In my book a family notice does not constitute an obituary, but opinions may differ.
