No information about the Wright family apart from that Mary's father was called William and was a flax dresser. I wasn't able to identify a baptism for Mary and stopped researching that line.
Still no nearer to smashing the brick wall of the marriage of John PRITCHARD to Maria WRIGHT. All tips and tricks welcome. I have been thinking about BT's today, they must only be C of E. What about Non Conformist? Where would they be held?

Thanks Bertie, yes I have all the census details for every year and have bought the birth certificate of Martha Jane Pritchard, mother Maria Wright.
John Pritchard and Maria had their first child Eliza in 1829, that's of course if I have it right, but it appears so.
Baptism: 9 Nov 1829 St Peter, Liverpool, Lancashire, England Eliza Pritchard - [Child] of John Pritchard & Maria Abode: Circus St Occupation: Book Keeper Baptised by: J. Pulford Curate Register: Baptisms 1829 - 1830, Page 156, Entry 12
Is this the church where the records were destroyed? If you want to wait until Tuesday I could check if that marriage is available at the RO

I think they are sisters too Bertie, just too many links for them not to be.
Mary that would be great if you could, been waiting for many years so a few more days will make no difference. It just seems a bit doubtful because of the date, but you never know.......fingers crossed that I can move backwards if this is the correct marriage. Thank you for your kind offer.
I'm sorry to say that Bertieone's and my thoughts about the church records for St Michaels having been destroyed in the blitz is right. The marriages are only held up to 1835, sorry about that, but you can still order from the Liverpool Register Office or the GRO (cheaper)

Perhaps far enough away to avoid anyone knowing they had been living over the brush
Bet it doesn't give Scottie Road on the certificate, waiting to hear.
