My great great grandfather, William West, died in 1865. I've found his burial record from Dec. of that year in Sefton Parish registers on Ancestry. Any idea what church that would be? When I think of Sefton, I always think of Sefton Church. (One of my favorite places!! We used to walk there when I was younger) The West family lived in Seaforth. William was the station master there. Would the burial have been at Sefton Church? Another church like St.Thomas in Seaforth ? The priest was TW Richardson according to the record. Thanks.

I think it can only be Sefton Church. Rev T W Richardson was the curate around that time.

Thank you for the replies. I will have to stop by Sefton Church when we are in town next month. Love that church. Thanks.
