Born 2 Aug 1855, Liverpool. Parents Mary and William. Census 61 & 71, Jersey C.I.; 81 Vessels & Crew List; 91 living with family Poulton cum Seacombe Sea Mariner, single. Family tradition "he went to America and did well"; my sense is he was alive in 1905. Father William died Cheshire 1902, mother Mary moved to live with daughter Isabella and family in London between 1911 and 1921 when she died. Would love to find what happened next. Can anybody offer any suggestions? (He didn't die at sea in 1914). Thanks so much - a very solid brick wall! Claire
