Thanks Blue,
I have eased off a bit in the last few weeks as all I was doing in the evenings was research. It took over. Ha-ha
I think I got to a point where I was getting frustrated and needed a break from the process as I was getting in a muddle.
I am now back into things with and hope to find some more history.
Where can I find the Liverpool electoral register as this could be another source for information.?
Eventually when I have the correct info me and a few others want to visit sites that’s our ancestors have lived- IE Liverpool and Ireland.
Obviously want the facts to be right though….
Cheers
Ross

There are many Electoral Registers including Liverpool 1832-1970 on Ancestry, plus Findmypast has the more recent ones, up to 2014.

Hi Ross,
The easy Liverpool Electoral Registers to find on Ancestry are in 5 year intervals there is a search so you can easily find them. The ones in between are on Ancestry but you have to use the browse to find them so they can take more time. For the browse remember where your relatives were previously living ie not just the address but the ward and polling district. Locate the same ward and polling district on the browse and look through the addresses. Here is the Ancestry search:-
