Thanks Bert, will have a look at your find
I found this one for, which seems the closest match (census shows b. 1831) for James Entwistle:
Baptised: 31 Jan 1830
Bolton-le-Moors, St Peter, Lancashire, England
Father: Thomas Entwisle
Mother: Mary Entwistle
Abode: Great Bolton
Father Occupation: Spinner

Film Number: 1966401
DGS: 007568519
Image 108 of 762
Entry No: 682
I have found an entry for a marriage for Thomas Entwisle and Mary Taylor, which would be just before they had all their children - although, doesn't match your baptism record - but matches the children on the census: William b. 1827, James b. 1831, Joseph b. 1833 and John b. 1835
Marriage Date: 29 Nov 1826
Parish: Bolton-Le-Moors
Groom: Thomas Entwisle
Bride: Mary Taylor
Residence: Bolton-le-Moors, Lancashire
I need to search for the film for the above though....
I have plotted out most of the younger generation late night like MaryA mentioned, linking John Entwistle b.1877 with siblings and their spouses. Many live close to each other and wills/probate also show family connections.
The ones I still am unsure about is Sarah Entwistle b. 1863 and Mary A Entwistle b. 1866. Sarah does actually live with her father John Entwistle (b. 1835) on the 1901, who is widowed - along with her sister Minnie. Both Sarah & Minnie then marry and 1911, Sarah is then Sarah Schofield (m. Samuel James Schofield). There is a will for Sarah Schofield, which mentions Stanley Ralphs - this is Mary A Ralphs' (nee Entwistle) son, so Sarah's nephew. Mary A Entwistle & her husband (Richard Ralphs) actually are on the 1891 census with most of the family: RG12 | Piece: 3118 | Folio: 89 | Page: 15
I am pretty happy with the 1891 census above, as John Entwistle b. 1877 occupation: Assistant Flour/corn (which links to 1901 - Corn & Flour Dealer) and John Entwistle b. 1835 Head: Clogger
John Entwistle b. 1835 married Mary Parker 02 Feb 1862 (the MC you also found)
My issue with Sarah & Mary A Entwistle. I can't seem to match them up with the mother maiden name of Parker, unlike the rest of the family. The date of marriage is before both Sarah & Mary A are both, yet I can't match Parker with them.
Any ideas on Sarah & Mary A Entwistle?!
Just hoping I haven't gone wrong with Mary Parker...but I feel happy with the 1891 census and the family that are on this one. Then the 1881, I equally feel comfortable with as siblings/ages all match and father occupation is expected.
Thanks
