Hi all I received an email from a lady who has sight problems and has asked for help about Joseph Glavesky who lived and died in Liverpool, buried in Ford Cemetry.
Joseph came from Lithuania although census entries say Poland, Russia.
I have done all the Ancestry, Findmypast, Lancs bmd etc and have a mound of info on Joseph's family and his younger brother Clement and his family.
Helen , the lady who contacted me, is looking for any info about Joseph's life in Lithuania.
Any living Glaveskys please step forward.
I know it's a big ask !
Cheers
Peter

Re: Glavesky / Glavisky
Hi Peter,
Looks to me like a name that could easily be changed over the years. Have you checked the UK Electoral Registers, which you can see on Findmypast, there are a few variants on there from Scotland, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire as well as one in Merseyside.
What do you think of these spellings?
Glaveckis Glovackas Gloveckis
