You're welcome. There's resources and links posted by various people around the forum that may come in handy. I mostly use Family Search, Free BMD, GRO website, Lancs OPC and Lancs BMD. I use Ancestry and Find My Past free in the library or on free access days such as this weekend, Ancestry is free from Friday 25 to Monday 28 August 2017.

I notice that you live near to Liverpool, the library in William Brown Street has Ancestry and Findmypast to use for free in the library, and we also host a Help Desk each Tuesday afternoon in the Third Floor Record Office, between 1.30 and 4.00 pm.

Thanks Mary and Blue. I actually work at the Linrary as a welcomed on Wednesday mornings. I am currently unable to use the free Ancestry weekend but will when next at Central Library.
