1871 census - help reading entry please

Post by daggers »

I have found James North in RG10/3782, fo. 70, p. 41 at 72 Bedford Street, Liverpool, as lodger [?] in the household of Richard S Thompson, born 1832, Northumberland.
I can read part of North's occupation as 'St Catherine's Church' and know that he was the incumbent of that church which stood in Abercromby Square. I cannot make out the rest, as the image is obscure on both Anc and FMP.
I could not trace North's entry via the Anc search, but got there on FMP.

Can anyone please oblige?

Makes total sense, but do I need another eye test?

Many thanks, Bert.

Thanks, Blue, that gives a back-up, and lots of other information as well.
