Finding The Marriage of John Trevaskiss and Esther ?

Hi all I am returning to the Marriage in My Brick wall of John b.Circa 1785 In Plymouth Dock (Now Davenport in the Parish of Stoke Dameral & Esther b. circa 1786 according to 1841 census in Scotland, the information I have so far is.
John attested in the Marines 17th June 1803 and was set of the rolls June 1814 in Bristol and was a corporal of Marines and a Taylor, 1841 Census St Martins L'pool district, John Trevaskis 50--1791, Esther Trevaskis 54--1787,Sarah Trevaskis 7--1833 then on next page N K above 20 . The first child I have found is Elizabeth Bapt. 27th Oct 1813 St. Mary Magdalene Woolwich John 22nd May 1816 S. George in the East Stepney William Boyne 16th July 1818 St. Dunston Stepney, Henry 4th Feb. 1821 St.G in the E. Stepney, then 3 more Children all b. L'pool James , Sarah Ann,then another Sarah Ann, John Died 23rd May 1848 age 68 Esther was the witness at 188 Great Howard St. L'pool. An Ann Bowen Trevaskiss bapt.8th April 1805 St Augustine the Less Bristol, Ann Boyne Trevaskiss m. Peter Plowman 11th May 1818 in St. Botolph Aldersgate, City of London, Elizabeth Trevaskiss m. James Young 8th April 1848 St. Thomas Southwalk, I suspect the Marriage will be in London and there are a lot of holes in the records so How do I find the record I thought Esther's maiden name was Boyne but with the Marriage of Ann And Peter I'm not so sure now hope someone on the forum can help

Yes Blue and this is what prompted me to post, this daughter Married for the second time in Manhattan but I could not find any Poplars in Scotland

If I can find the Marriage I can confirm Poplar or Boyne ?

Looking at Poplars using the Ancestry surname search facility (using 1891 Census Data) the only bit of Scotland that has a few Poplars is Shetland perhaps this could be where Esther was from?

Have you checked the National Archives for any documents relating to his service?

Done a first name search on Scotland's People for Ester/Esther birth between 1770/1790, there are no Poplers/Poplars, not even a mothers maiden name, Poplar/Popler, amongst the parents.

Not here, though may be worth keeping?

Yes Mary No attestation Papers just his Discharge details with the information on No Information on His marriage I suspect he married after his discharge Poss. in London Re. the birth at Woolwich But lots of missing data on the information on Line

I am over the moon David Annal of Family Tree Magazine has finally found the Marrage of John Trevaskiss and Esther poplar and a very devious tale it is (Worth reading if only for the route he took ,It involves a name change she was born Ursula Papla and Ursula Stout in Lerwick (Yes Blue and Bertieone you were right) and the marriage took place there as well John was a Marine on H.M.S. Ajax a Wonderful bit of detective work and I can't praise the mag. enough

Thanks Bertieone yes Iv'e got that far but 1861 Esther Trevaskiss Married again said her father was John Stout who did she Marry
and where was she in 1851 and did she marry George Price or John Price or I know Esther Trevaskiss her daughter married Gerard Price her daughter Esther was my Grandmother (My head is spinning)
