Ancestry in Libraries

Post by Blue70 »

Recent visits showed no free Ancestry available, hope this is a temporary problem and it's not being axed.

 That's bad, however I believe we still have both in Crosby, and of course both in Liverpool. We will have to make the most of them while they are still there.

We had Ancestry in Crosby Library for the Help Desk on Friday and as far as I'm aware Ancestry was accessible at The Atkinson for help desk on Saturday so maybe not Sefton, is it just Liverpool?

Well fingers crossed it was just a glitch, we use it such a lot at the help desk we'd really miss it

Let us know Mary if you are there tomorrow whether Ancestry is back on or not. Hopefully it's back on. The other day when you tried to access Ancestry it asked you for a username and a password. No one could access it and staff said it was a general problem not the fault of certain pcs or individual Liverpool libraries.

I never used it yesterday. I do know it was off on Friday and it had been reported.
