Ss Peter & Paul's Crosby plot index

Post by JohnnyO »

Hi folks, does anyone have a record of the Plot layout for this graveyard? Are there any records online similar to Ford or Bootle cemeteries? A distant cousin from across the other side of the world has a few relatives there. She is coming over to visit in May to do some family tree research, and I'm hoping to make life a little easier for her!

Many thanks,

John

I think generally if we have anything on a church we put it on this collective list, https://www.liverpool-genealogy.org.uk/ ... =14&t=5739
so it doesn't appear to be.

Genuki lists the records as being held at Preston http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/LAN/Gr ... eterStPaul

however the church appears to be still open so it will probably be worthwhile to give them a ring and ask the priest if there is a plan.

Thanks Mary. Our house backs on to the graveyard. If I had a good pair of binoculars I could read half of the gravestones from home. :D . Might have to put my coat on and go for a wander around.

Thanks

That's a good idea, but if you bump into a priest I bet if you had a bit of folded money in your hand he'd be quite helpful
