Joseph Hart

Post by valbenson »

Hi Everyone

Joseph Hart was my Great Grandfather and was born in Wigan in 1852 I have worked that out from his death certificate in 1928 which gave his age as 76 years. In 1851 his parents Morris & Ann were living in Liverpool with their 2 sons called Michael Morris born 1848 in Wigan and Morris (spelt Maurice on his b/c) born 1850 in Liverpool he died in 1851 still in Liverpool. Morris snr died in 1858 still in Liverpool. 2 little girls died in 1856 in Liverpool. In 1861 I can find no trace of the family of Ann, Joseph or Michael Morris, in 1871 Ann & Joseph are on the census in Birkenhead. In 1875 Joseph married in Birkenhead, I can find no birth for Joseph and no death for Michael Morris, does any one think that Michael Morris & Joseph might be the same person or have I just missed a birth & death. I have asked in the past if Joseph could be a confirmation name of Michael

Thanks for reading

Val

Sorry I forgot to add does anyone have any other ideas about where he is?

Hi Mary

Sorry I had forgotten that I had already posted the same questions 4 years ago, thought I had only mentioned a confirmation.

Regards

Val
