I have found two birth entries

Births Sep 1875 FENNER Joseph Bell Liverpool 8b 42
and
Births Jun 1877 FENNER Joseph William W. Derby 8b 282

I would imagine it would be the second as West Derby registration district would have covered Kirkdale. No baptisms apparent.

Perhaps you could tell us where he appeared from and give us a lead.

1871 has James and Jane with children William (Labourer) 15 and Emma 4 at House No 18 Buckingham ?, Everton

There are a number of children baptised to James and Jane between 1853 and 1866 at St Peter and I don't know if the James Bell Fenner might belong to the family, he had two between 1869 and 1894.

In 1891 Joseph William Fenner, 13, is at school in John Russell Cloutte School, Weston, Somerset

Thanks Bert, I thought the name sounded familiar, we really need to know if Marilib has seen the previous help given as she didn't respond on one of the topics, which gave a lot of information. So perhaps we shouldn't go further until we know.

Hi everyone
Please accept my apologies for not writing sooner. I've been in and out of hospital for over a year but I'm a lot better now. The proper name for my family is Fenner.. I'm going back to sort it all out and will write soon. I tried to persuade my Husband to take me down to Liverpool, but but he wouldn't have it.I'll be down next Summer. Thanks for all your hard work. I'm so thrilled to have something to work on.

Bye for now.
