Could anyone tell me where the burial place would be for an inmate who died in Belmont Road Workhouse in 1900? Was there a burial place at the workhouse, or would it have been Walton cemetery at that time?
Thank you.

Re: Burial Query
Hi and welcome to the forum.
On the post you tagged this to on the Websites Board https://www.liverpool-genealogy.org.uk/ ... =14&t=5739 you will find many suggestions for burial places and the dates they were in use.
There may have been a family grave that he was buried in, or alternatively a general grave in one of the Cemeteries. One of the popular places at that time would indeed have been Walton Parochial Cemetery, whose records are available to search on Ancestry. If you don't have access to this site, your local library should have, or give us a name and date to search for and we will try to help.

Re: Burial Query
Liverpool workhouses and hospitals did not have onsite burial grounds. Do you have access to Ancestry? Ancestry have burial records for Walton Park the Liverpool parish cemetery for that time. Was the person RC? If so they might have had an RC burial at Liverpool RC Diocese's Ford Cemetery at Litherland. Burial records for Ford are also on Ancestry. Other cemeteries are possible but not knowing where the person lived prior to going to Belmont Road I couldn't suggest any at this time.

Thank you for the link to other research Blue, which will save us duplicating.
Now we have a name and Blue has checked that the burial is not available online, I would suggest you make a visit to the Liverpool Record Office where you can check the other Cemetery Burials.
