Hi everyone,
It is some time since my last post, and I have again another question for the forum; but first i must state that i do not know if i am posting in the correct forum.
Two families I am interested in, namely Waringe and Coupe names, are said to have intermarried, way back. The person of interest is Samuel Waringe. I quote from Parentalia Genealogical Memoirs, by George Ormerod, D.C.L., "Shortly after the Restoration he settled at Bury, connecting himself by marriage with the Coupes of Ewood Bridge, his previous kinsmen, ........"
Can anyone fill me in on any information at all concerning the above.
Cheers,
Paul

Re: Waringe & Coupe families
Could you perhaps be more specific with a date and details of subsequent generations and whether they are connected with the South Lancashire area. The places you mention are much further north than our own area, if you check a map for Bury, and Blackburn where you will see Ewood.

Hi Mary,
Thank you for the reply. I think I'll take the question to another forum as I didn't believe your forum was the correct one.
Had to try.
Regards,
Paul
